Father's Day is coming up fast! Like in four days fast! It's a great time to check out our Main Street area businesses for gift ideas for that special guy named Dad!
Goffstown Ace Hardware: THE GO-TO place for all kinds of great things... grills and accessories, coolers, yard and gardening gear, plants, tools, work apparel - the list goes on and on! Go and check them out!
Apotheca, and Zinnia & Birch: Perhaps a beautiful arrangement or a special card is more on your mind. Look no further than these two amazing shops! Come to think of it, 444 Candle Company has some fantastic (and unique) scented soy candles - all locally made. And Finders Seekers has some very unique offerings as well (all kinds of pop culture goodies).
Lottie Pops Boutique: You can find some great gift ideas here - whether it is New Hampshire-inspired T-Shirts or very cool accessories for Dad's Man-Cave (and other fun stuff).
Alpha's Barbershop and Tonic Barber Shop: a gift certificate from one of these fine barber shops is also a great idea! Dads gotta look sharp, you know!
Home remodeling that's not a DIY? Home Designers, Builders and Remodelers, as well as Cabinetry by S.M. Hall just may be the ticket.
And of course, there's food! Breakfast at Sawyer's, baked goodies at Sweet Love Bakery, lunch at China Gourmet, or Ray Street Pizza on Main are great! Dinner at The Village Trestle or Putnam's Waterview Restaurant is also a wonderful treat! Or if you'd rather honor Dad with a cookout, don't forget to stop at Sully's for the Best Meats in Town and all the fixings.
Time's running out! Now you have some inspiration!
What's up with Main Street: first, huge kudos to our youngest board member, Harrison Spalthoff. Harrison recently graduated from Goffstown High School this month. And on top of all the honors he received during his extraordinary GHS tenure, he was awarded the Ronald Reagan Leadership Medal which recognizes drive, humility, and service before self. Way to go, Harrison!!!
And sadly, we say goodbye to our Vice President (and longest-serving board member), Adam Vermokowitz. Since 2017, he spear-headed our Golf Tournament as well as the Pumpkin Regatta... both huge undertakings involving countless hours of work. We wish him all the best in his many endeavors and look forward to working with him as a volunteer.
